Hi, I’m Rachel, the creator of 31 beads, director of AIM foreign missions, mom of 4 and soon to be first time grandma! Life can be so hectic. Us women (yes, even women who love Jesus) can so easily get lost and distracted in our everyday. It can leave us feeling empty and blah! It has taken years for me to finally understand the simplicity, richness, and goodness of the gospel, and what it truly means to sit at His feet and to rest in Him. I’m still learning! Oh isn’t Jesus so good? Aren’t you glad he uses the foolish things of this world? My hope for this blog is that it serves to encourage woman young and old to be still and know HIM. One of my favorite old hymns says it perfectly, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of HIS glory and grace!
